Empowering Gryphon Athletes

Building a community where sport meets healthcare service and mentorship.

Join AIM Today

Our Origin

Tanvi Pannu and Evan Cescon launched Athletes in Medicine (AIM) when they realized Gryphon athletes lacked on‑campus, athlete‑friendly healthcare opportunities. They built AIM as an adaptable platform: volunteering in hospitals and blood drives, hands‑on clinics and events, and peer‑led workshops, all scheduled around practice and competition. Open to intramural, recreational and varsity athletes alike, AIM fosters balance between sport, study and personal well‑being.

Our Purpose & Vision

AIM’s purpose is simple: empowering Gryphon athletes—whether on varsity, intramural teams, or fitness enthusiasts—to explore healthcare careers through service, mentorship and skill‑building. Our vision is a community inspired by athlete‑led service, where every young person experiences support and is motivated to give back in turn.

Projects & Workshops

In the Works

Rethink × AIM Workshop

Partnering with Rethink Breast Cancer to host a workshop in October, featuring games, activities and a speaker sharing their breast cancer journey. This collaboration brings awareness to younger generations and builds advocacy.

PROgress × AIM

Through a partnership with Breast Cancer Canada’s PROgress software, AIM gathers patient experiences to create step‑by‑step resources for navigating illness. The more experiences shared, the better the guidance for those in need.
